Describe the work A global site to launch the new walkman range of phones and to show how music has the power to move people. On this ambitious site each phone is represented by a different world made up of music, a dancing figure and animated landscapes. Users can make their own world by choosing music and using a bespoke drag and drop image app we created in flash. We also added an application which lets music fans download and install a bespoke MP3 player onto their desktop which visually reflects the world they created. The program scans their machine for music and allows them to open it without being online and play their own MP3s whenever they like With over 5 million visits and a quarter of visitors returning 5 times or more, our unique and inspirational site delivered significantly beyond the brief, deepening brand affinity and increasing sales. |
